On June 30th my appointment as Pastor here at Faith will end. Starting July 1st, I will begin my six month renewal leave. My plans include visiting out-of-town friends, museums, and aquariums.
In my 30 plus years in ministry, this time away will be my first. This time will also allow me to address some new medical issues I am facing. I’m most excited about having time to work on my new organization called “Imagine Me.”
A recognized not-for-profit corporation recognized by both the state of Illinois and the Internal Revenue Service, it will provide various assistance to children in Ghana.
My heart has always been helping and loving children and this organization will allow me to do just that! I give thanks for the loving and faithful at Faith UMC. Your acts of kindness, beautiful smiles, prayers and support allowed me to be your Pastor. Your support and prayers carried me through challenging times. May our God be with you.
