4) You Can Choose Where A Particular Gift Goes Our church uses donations to fund everything from mission trips to building maintenance. As you know, currently our church envelopes allow you to designate funds for General Fund, Maintain Faith or other. You can use eGiving to direct a special gift to areas you wish to support, in addition to our General Fund and Maintain Faith.

Everyone should be familiar with this giving option giving as either cash or a check. If you are comfortable with this method of giving, by all means continue. Electronic bill pay through your bank or financial institution may be an option you are currently using to pay your bills. If not, you need review with your bank how to set this up. It involves establishing an internet access to your bank. Online banking has a number of advantages to keep better track of your finances and potentially eliminate the need to write checks. With electronic bill pay, it is possible to automate bill payment including your giving to the church. This method can be set it and forget it knowing that your giving will arrive at the church no matter whether you are here or are on vacation.
For those of you that have reached the tender age of 72 and need to take a required minimum distribution (RMD) from your retirement savings, consider making a qualified minimum distribution to our church for your giving and save yourself a few tax dollars. Speak to your financial adviser as to how this can be set up. This can be done at any time of the year.
