Under the theme “Practicing Hope”, clergy and elected lay members will gather for the Northern Illinois Conference’s 187th Annual Conference session, June 14-16, 2026. The theme invites participants to explore how hope shapes ministry, mission, and the future of the church.

The conference Board of Global Ministries and Midwest Mission will continue their multiple-year partnership to send tangible resources to those affected by disasters and poverty. Please consider donating some of these items to this mission.  A complete list of items can be found at umcnic.org/2026MissionChallenge. This year we will collect:

  • Liquid Dish Soap (42 to 64 ounces)
  • Scrub Brushes
  • Hand Towels/Washcloths
  • Individual Toothbrushes
  • Bars of Soap (3 to 4 ounces)
  • Deodorant (2 to 3-ounce stick, roll-on or pump)

Faith UMC has always been a generous supporter of this mission project. Donations will be accepted weekends from now until June 7th.
