Family Ministries Update

Hello Faith Families,

He is Risen! He is Risen Indeed!  

I get a little giddy for Easter, almost more so than Christmas.  

Don’t get me wrong, the birth of Jesus is wonderful.  

But… Jesus gave his perfect life by dying on the cross for me and for you, for the sins we hadn’t even done yet, over 2000 years ago.  

Then He ROSE from the dead 3 days later. I mean that is amazing love that makes me giddy. I hope it makes you giddy also.

A very Happy Easter to you and your loved ones.

March was a bit crazy with all of our activities we had going on for families. Our Family Cyber Safety presentation was such great information. Carol and Mark Reichelt, thank you so much for such a great morning. It is available on our YouTube channel & Facebook page if you are interested in watching the presentation and handouts are available outside room 4. In Arts Alive we learned about mosaic art and made some wonderful pieces for our art show. Our 1st ever Camp-In had almost 30 people and we had an awesome time playing flashlight hide and seek, singing around our little “camp fire” and eating some yummy smores and roasted marshmallows. Thank you to all who came out for the evening and those who spent the night.

April has a few things-but a bit more chill.

Family Fun: Sunday, April 12th 11am - 1pm - Pizza and open gym

Connect Jr. & Sr High youth group: Sunday, April 19th 11am – 1pm  - Come and make friends, play games, and enjoy lunch together.  

Arts Alive: Friday, April 24th 6pm – 8pm - All ages are welcome to come and learn about a new artist and create your own masterpiece.  May 10th will be our Art Show and Sale to show off all of our great works of art.

Lastly, mark your calendars because Faith Kids is going to Family Camp this summer. I think I am the most excited about this!  

July 24-26 our Faith Families will be going to Camp Stronghold Christian Camp in Oregon, IL.

More details will be coming in the next couple of weeks. Sign up will be required.
