Family Ministries Update
Hello Faith Families,
March has so many wonderful things to look forward to as the month progresses. Flowers will begin to peek out of the ground. Birds will start to come back with a promise of warmer weather around the corner. Trees will start to have tiny buds peeking out on their branches. Baby animals will start coming into the world. As I write this, it has been in the 60’s for the past few days, and it has just been GLORIOUS after the very snowy few months we had endured. I know we are not out of the woods from cold weather, but I am truly grateful for this little reprieve. We are now in the season of Lent and in Sunday School we talked about Jesus wandering in the wilderness for 40 days being tempted by Satan. If you are giving something up or taking something on this Lenten season, remember the point is to focus your heart and mind on Jesus and the sacrifice he made for us by dying on the cross.
You don’t have to beat yourself up if you have a bad day and eat the sugar or have that coffee you promised to “give up.” I have a little secret, God will still love you!
This month we have so much fun coming to Faith for our families. So get out your calendar and grab a pen, because you won’t want to miss a single thing!

It will be a fun way as a family to get focused and center your heart each day leading up to Easter Sunday! Have fun together.
Every Sunday @ 10am Sunday School - This month we will be learning about the different parables that Jesus taught to his followers, what they mean, and how they fit into our lives today.
March 8 @ 11am Connect Jr. & Sr. High Youth Group - We will be talking about Jesus’ sacrifice, play some games, and order lunch.
March 14 @ 10am Family Cyber Safety Presentation - Come and hear about ways to keep your children & yourself safe on the internet and ways to protect your identity in our online world. We will have a presentation with an open discussion/forum to share with each other after.
March 20 @ 6pm-7:30 Arts Alive - Join us on Friday evening to learn about an artist and/or style of art and then be inspired to recreate your own masterpiece.
March 27-28 @ 6pm-10 am Family Fun Camp-In: Come camp in the Gym for the night. We will have dinner, play games, sing around the camp fire, and enjoy a good time as a family. Bring a tent, or just sleep in your sleeping bag on the floor or air mattress. Parents expected to stay all night.
