United Women in Faith is the over-arching Women’s organization within the United Methodist Church. Most congregations have an organization, known as a Unit, which is connected to and works with the women of the church. Their focus is supporting on another, in the local church, as well as encouraging and supporting the needs of women, children, and youth by their prayers, gifts, and encouragement around the world.
We here at Faith are known for our skills as Bakers and Cooks. In the fall, we have a Bake Sale on the days of the Quilter’s Show. In the spring, we have a free will Palm Sunday bake sale. This money goes to help support a number of community, church, and international organizations relating to families, women, and children.
We also have three small groups – Eve, Ruth, and Mary Circles. These groups are also open to all. They meet at various times. New members are always welcome!
Though our name is United Women in Faith, any woman, regardless of church affiliation, can join our group.
