Our General Fund at Faith UMC is used for various purposes including, but not limited to, the following major expense areas:
- Salaries for our pastors and other church staff
- Maintenance, including utilities, and insurances of our buildings
- Support for our various church committees and missions
- Office expenses
- Our apportionment as set by our District
As always, our goal is to keep our congregation informed of all our expenses. Our Finance Committee meets monthly to review our expenses and to do our best to adhere to the budget that is approved annually by our Church Council. We periodically publish a summary of our expenses in our church bulletin and newsletter. In addition, our monthly budget and P&L statements are available upon request.
