GETTING INVOLVED

Opportunities are available for men and women, young adult and the more mature to get involved in the church. We are always open to new members. Listed below are some of the ways you can get involved.

	2012 MISSION TRIP TO COSTA RICA The Missions Committee is taking on Pastor Caleb’s challenge to be doers of the Word of God by offering a tremendous opportunity of service beyond our immediate community. The setting will be San Jose, Costa Rica where the Latin American Biblical University (UBL) is located. Click here to read more about Pastor Caleb's Mission Field Challenge. A presentation about Costa Rica and the Universidad Biblica Latinoamericana (UBL) has been scheduled at church for Wednesday, February 15 at 6:30 pm.


FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN (FMSC) MINI-MOBILE PACK EVENT Coming August 3rd & 4th Faith UMC will pack 25,000 manna meals at the church Click here to read more.


FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a non-profit Christian organization committed to feeding God’s children hungry in body and spirit. The approach is simple: children and adults hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children. The meals are then shipped to nearly 70 countries around the world. Sign-up on the Missions bulletin board in the Church lobby to join us pack meals in Aurora, IL on: Tuesday, May 1, 9:30 - 11:30 am Tuesday, October 9, 9:30 - 11:30 am

	BLOOD PRESSURE CHECK The forth Sunday of each month we will be doing blood pressure checks. Please plan to stop by and get your blood pressure checked, remember that High Blood pressure is called the “Silent Killer”. *If you have questions please speak to Jan Shaulis.*

FOOD PANTRY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! Faith UMC and Together-We-Cope are in partnership to provide food to our neighbors in need. The pantry welcomes clients on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 9 am to 12 noon. The Missions Committee is asking for volunteers to distribute bags of food one or more mornings to the families that seek this service. Please see Sandy Ward, Allen DeNormandie, or sign-up in the lobby.

	FOOD FOR FAITH FAMILIES Do you enjoy cooking? We need people who would be willing to cook a meal and take it to one of our church families when they have an illness or death. *If you are interested in doing this, please sign up in the Lobby.*
