Twas the night before winter and
all through the house,
My children bemoaned the lack of snow
While I prayed the warm winter not go…
Boy o boy. It’s cold outside! Are you looking for a place to warm up? Maybe it’s not just your frozen fingers and toes, maybe there’s more you’re longing for.
At Faith United Methodist Church, we are everyday people seeking to warm ourselves (and others around us) by connecting with the love of God every day. We warm up our spirits by gathering in large groups for praise and worship. We warm up our minds by gathering in small groups for study, reflection, and prayer. We warm up our souls by gathering with others who want to serve and care for the needs of others in our community.
Faith is a community with our roots in three local congregations. These congregations (from Midlothian, Oak Forest, and Orland Park) gave up everything to become one church that could more effectively continue the mission of Jesus Christ.

OASIS WORSHIP SERVICE We hope you will join us at our OASIS Sunday Service for innovative praise and heartfelt worship at 10:45am. Dress casually and comfortably and enjoy our relaxed atmosphere. Sunday school and childcare are provided. |

ALPHA Explore the Christian faith in a relaxed setting that begins with a simple dinner. Over ten thought provoking weekly sessions, participants are encouraged to ask questions and discuss what they've heard in a no-pressure, non-judgmental atmosphere.

NEW MEMBER CLASS Class starts on Wednesday, February 29, 2012. The class will be for five weeks going through March 28th. If you are interested in joining Faith United Methodist Church, please sign up at the Connection Center. Child care will be provided, if needed. New members will be received into the church on Easter Sunday, April 8th. |
