Biography

Ted Jones is one of the Pastor's of the newly formed congregation of Faith UMC.  Pastor Ted will be completing 41 years of active ministry in June of 2010 and has been with the West Campus (formerly Orland Park UMC) for the last 9 and a half years.  Pastor Ted holds an undergraduate degree in psychology from Aurora University and an M.Div. from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston on the campus of Northwestern University.  This is his sixth full-time pastorate and he served two student pastorates while in Seminary.  Pastor Ted spent 2 and a half years as a short-term missionary in the Philippines in the late 1960's between college and seminary.  He met and married Rosalinda (Dodie) Mendoza in her home town of Claveria on the island of Mindanao.

Pastor Ted & Dodie will celebrate 41 years of marriage in December of 2009.  They have three children and eight grandchildren.  He loves being with the grandchildren, he is an ardent Cubs fan, and since he is a native of West Virginia, an ardent Mountaineer football and basketball fan.  He loves going to the movies with his wife on his day off, working out, and traveling.
